About Ominous

Ominous's main focus is to grow as a guild and have fun together. We are a family oriented guild. This means we communicate in an honest and respectful manner and overtime build up trust to create strong friendship bonds. If there is a problem, we try fixing it as a guild; talking it out and coming up with a solution that would leave both sides happy. We believe that friendships that go through struggles and overcome them, in the end have the stronger ties and last forever.

We also believe that knowledge is power. The high ranked members of Ominous have experience and great knowledge about Rappelz. They will be willing to help with any advice you might need. We prefer quality over quantity. Better to have a handful of members we can fully trust and rely on than big numbers that are unorganized and have no attachment to the guild. Ominous takes the game seriously at times, but we also enjoy relaxing and playing to have fun adventures as a guild.

During EXP/DROP events, the guild hosts parties to lvl up or buff members so that they can farm on their own, depending on the event details. During event downtime the guild still host parties, but mostly we engage in other activities like: fragment farming, helping in quests, dueling, gearing up, guild events and so on. During rewarding events the members might be less willing to help in long quest-lines, but space could be made to aid in such quest.

Rules

1. No racism.

We like to have fun, so we allow racist jokes as long as everyone present in the chat is comfortable with it. If people are uncomfortable with the jokes or the way you are telling them, you will be asked to stop. Straight out racist people won't be allowed into Ominous. We do not allow members to margin or hate on others because of the amount of melanin in their skin cells along other adaptive evolution traits, their religion or culture.

Note: Scientifically races don't exist, there's only 1 species of humans.

2. No PKing innocent people who are using lvling up CS items.

Ominous gives the freedom to PvP, but we do not allow members to PK players that are lvling up or farming using items such as: SS, GP, LP, Luna Amplifier, and so on. On the other hand, if that target player is in the guild KoS, it is allowed to PK him. If the fight is not guild related, the PKing members will be on their own and the other guild members have no responsibility to aid them. If you are going to engage in any PvP, state that your intentions are personal and not guild related. Do not involve the guild in fights with other friendly guilds. Do not kill steal (ks) from other players. You will be warned to stop and apologize to the victim.

Note: It is no longer allowed to PK inside dungeons. DO NOT turn PK mode on inside dungeons to avoid getting suspended or banned.

3. No scamming or begging.

We do not allow members to scam other people and specially other guild members. If a member has the full intention to rip off someone by placing a different item or rupee amount in trade window it will be considered as scamming, even tho the current trade mechanism is secure. Placing items in Shop and Auction House at any price is not considered scamming. Buyers have the responsibility to look at what item they are buying and its price and you have the free will to name your price.

Begging continuously for free items, pets or buffs is not permitted. Members that are willing to help you may give you the things you seek but none of them have an obligation to give anything. We don't want members to feel under pressure and end up giving something just because they might feel they have a responsibility with the guild. Asking for help is allowed. What is not allowed is to continue insisting or spamming after you got told they can't help.

Note: Make sure to ask for a price check to guild members if unsure of it.

4. No impersonating Leader, Guardian or Sentinel rank members.

We don't want confusion and lack of respect in the guild. That is why we don't allow members to use the same chat tag as the high ranked members or any member for that matter. If a lower rank member is copied, they will be warned to change it and stop. If a Leader, Guardian or Sentinel rank is copied it could lead to a guild kick depending on the severity of the problem it caused. For example pretending to be the Leader on a newly created alt. character and give the permission to PK a certain group of people, or anything of the sort that might mislead members that are relatively new to the guild.

Note: To add a chat tag, select the desired chat Tab and click on the ''S'' that is located to the left side of chat window. In ''Subject'' add the text  you wish to and confirm settings.
